Louisville Parks
Six Flags over Louisville

Thi is a water park and Looney Toons Theme Park. The crowds were thin when we went. I'm assuming thats due to the bad publicity this park has gotten lately. In June 2007, a teenager lost both of her feet when a cable snapped on the internationally popular Superman ride. The odds favor getting a $1,000,000 check from Publishers Clearing house over getting hurt on this ride. But all that aside, its a fun park!
Waverly Sanatorium from Iroquois Park

This hospital is featured in a movie called "Death Tunnel". The hospital was built 1926, when turbuculois (the white plague) was prevelant. Over 60,000 people died here from the asphyxiating disease. Antibiotics eventually wiped out the plague that took more lives than World War I, and the hospital was closed.
Pauls Fresh Fruit and Vegetables

This isn't a park, but its a GREAT place to park. You can get the best veggies in town here on Taylorsville Road. These tomatoes have a flavor that California just can't reproduce. They are actually aromatic.
