CIA stats:
I just got these percentages of the labor force in the US
Managerial, professional, and technical 31%,
Sales and office 28.9%,
Manufacturing, extraction, transportation, and crafts 24.1%,
Services 13.6%,
Farming, forestry, and fishing 2.4%
In short, America produces next to nothing
I also found out that Nevada's Gross National Product (GNP) ranks 6th in the nation per capita.
For The Gross Domestic Product of the world's territories
(GDP = consumption + investment + government expenditures + exports - imports)
(Expressed in trillions)
US-10, China-5, Japan-3.5, India-2.6, Germany-1.8, France-1.5, UK-1.5, Italy-1.4, Russia-1.3, Brazil-1.3, S Korea-.9, Canada-.9, Mexico-.9
Languages: English-82%, Spanish-11%, Chinese-.7%, French-.6%, German-.5%
There are 290,000,000 people in the US.
If my math is right, the average contribution per person was $50,000 last year
I just thought these stats were interesting.
