I am looking at a foggy light just 1,000 feet away and thinking on a clear night, I can see stars billions of miles away with less distortion. That tells me how empty space is and how alone we are in this universe. I doubt we will ever make it to the stars. If we don't leave this planet, all of our lives will be lost to time.
