The weekend was EXCELLENT!
We hung out with my good friend Rod, his daughter and Derrick.
The people at our campsite were mostly noncomputer literate (except for Rod and Darrick).
It was great hearing how people in the sticks live.
I can remember a time when computers weren't so necessary to my life.
It was a long time ago.
I liked these people because, well, take Lonny for instance, he doesn't have a cell phone, a computer, an internet connection or cable TV.
Lonnie is great people, and man, can he play corn hole. I'd have to think his life is so much more simpler than ours.
Make money, pay bills, watch local TV, hang out with friends, and sometimes make love,. Thats what my life used to be about.
Now I'm all about checking my email, writing programs, downloading my transactions, and everything centers around the internet. I check it before going out to see what to wear.
Talking to these people brings back memories of a time in my life when I was a simpler person. I like both the person I was, and am. Its cool!
So, these events aren't really about the event.
Its about the whole experience. Everything we do is exciting enough to think about for many months to come.
And in my old age, if I make it, I'll look back at these times and smile a great big smile.

I kind of like IUD as an abbreviation for Insert Update and Delete.
Thinking about it, it could apply to birth control too. Insert the device, update it (haha), and delete pregnancy.

They could have gone with DUI in respect for all LV drivers.

Instead of IUD, they could have gone with DUI. In which case, everybody would think of Las Vegas drivers.

I got through the portal, and there was AIR. It was great ! I didn't expect I'd have air, however, every breath I took of it was refreshing. I could feel its energy pulse through my entire body, but it was disturbing. What would happen if there wasn't any?
I became aware of these beautiful visions.
They were all blurry at first, but after a while, they seemed to crystallize into shapes of form and depth. I was beginning to see Heaven
The sounds were incredible.
I first heard music, at least I thought it was music. I could sense the vastness of Heaven in my mind.
I could sense that others were helping me.
I didn't understand anything and I welcomed their help. It seemed clear to me that these helpers were angels.
Everything was warm.
The energy of it all...I was in love with this place. I didn't know why I was here, or how any of this happened, but I liked it.
And finally, after a few moments of struggling, and with the help of the angels,
I finally got up on all 4s.
My instincts told me where and how to find milk, and I walked over to get myself a suckle. The instincts with the songs and the visions that guided me through the portal, had left once I was born. I'll hear them again some day, but for now, I'm in for a ride of a life time.
If I ever do this again, I'm going to be like those things standing on two legs.
They act like they know everything.

Channel 13 News was at my bus stop this morning. They didn't interview me  :^( .  Our bus was shut down. There was black ice everywhere. A bus driver going the other way yelled out "Go to the stop on Lakehurst (about a mile away). Well, I, being in great health, a leader and all, took a deep breath, got in front of the crowd and went straight home. I was out there for over an hour.
